* Hunting Laws *
1. All packs, prides, and loners have to complete at least ONE successful hunt every season.
2. You can't catch something every time you hunt. That means you'll have to hunt at least twice some times.
3. To take down large game, there must be a minimum of three members. These three members must be at least a year old.
4. The more members there are, the easier hunting will be and the more successful hunts you'll have.
5. Please check the status of food on the board when hunting.
6. Be realistic while hunting.
Main Prey
Large prey: Sigambu and Lirac
Small prey: Verita, Polric, Faert, and Meirk
Sigambu herds range in size from 30 to 300 at a time. During migration (usually in the fall) the herd can range upwards to 1000. They are large, about the size of a moose, and look like a white-tail deer. Their antlers are very sharp and they are agile in the mountains, but they aren't too quick on their feet.
Lirac herds range in size from 50 to 100 at a time. During migration (usually in the spring) the herd can range upwards to 2000. They are large, about the size of a moose, and look like a gazelle. Their antlers are quite sharp and they are very fast, but they aren't so agile around the rocks.
Verita are small mammals that normally reside alone or in a group of about 10. They don't migrate. They are about the size of a badger and look like a rabbit. They move like rabbits too, but perhaps aren't as agile as them since they are a bit bigger.
Polric are small birds that nest on the ground and stay in a flock of about 15. They migrate to the valley from the mountains in the fall and return in the spring. If you wish to catch these birds, you must be quick and smart. While nesting, they rarely leave their nests, even if attacked.
Faert are small mammals that live in large family groups of about 30 individuals. They don't migrate. They are about the size of a koala and look like a meerkat. They move like meerkats too, but perhaps aren't as intelligent as them.
Meirk are a species of small birds who are unable to fly, but are very fast on the ground. They normally live in groups of 20 or so and spend most of their time around the lake, but will migrate to the plains during the fall. They're about the size of a turkey and look like a penguin. They are clumsy on land, but very fast in the water.
* Fighting Laws *
1. No PPing or GModing.
2. You cannot kill someone's character unless they say you can OOC.
3. Please have a reason for fighting. Don't just mindlessly attack every character.
4. You should usually only fight over territory, food, or rank. Sometimes, one side will raid the other side and a fight will start because of that.
5. The admin will judge all fights. The decision will be made on each character's posts after a total of 4 battle posts.
6. There is no limit to how many may be in a fight.
7. If you challenge another for their rank and they ignore you then you have to stop. The fight only begins if the other character strikes back.
8. If you're injured, the injuries don't just go away when the fight ends. You have to wait for them to heal.
9. It will take a long time for something like a broken leg to heal, while small cuts will heal quickly.
10. Please be realistic.
